William (Bill) Proctor CPA/CFF, CFE
William Proctor, CPA, (Bill) has more than 25 years of experience in accounting and technology consulting. Bill is a graduate of University of Florida and began his accounting carreer at Deloitte Haskins & Sells. He has ran small businesses and performed business consulting for much of his career.
Bill has performed business interruption valuations on a variety of matters and in multiple industries. Bill is not only an expert in lost profits calculations, he has acute experience in IT systems and has developed sophisticated "crisis management" accounting systems to accurately record and present financial informaiton to board members, governmental agencies and federal and state officials. During Hurricane Katrina, he developed a cost tracking system to be used by agencies to ensure accurate reporting and compliance to grant management standards. His experience also includes creating systems to quickly and effectively monitor contractor costs on a daily basis when competitive bids are not an option. His wealth of experience includes monitoring of costs contracts, contractors related to oil spills, and debris removal contracts immediately after a catastrophic event.
He is an expert in the structural design of accounting systems and bridges the gap between accounting and programming by being proficient in both disciplines.
Bill has also served as CFO of start up companies and has has served as audit manager on publicly traded companies, governmental entities, and private non-profits.
